Netflix releases first trailer Ted Danson’s new comedy series, a man deep insideDanson plays a retired professor named Charles who feels like life has nothing new for him. It looks like it’s going to be a sweet and enjoyable story to tell.
In the play, “One year after his wife’s death, he fell into daily life and drifted away from his daughter.
“But when he sees a classified ad for a private investigator, he is inspired to embark on a new adventure, going undercover to solve the mystery of a stolen family heirloom.”
Charles is tasked with “going undercover at San Francisco’s Pacific View Retirement Home to solve the mystery of a stolen family heirloom.”
“Everyone, whether resident or staff, is a potential suspect, and it is Charles’s responsibility to solve the case without attracting Didi’s attention (stephanie beatrice), the all-knowing, omniscient director of Pacific View.
“But keeping a low profile proved difficult, as the affable Charles quickly endeared himself to the other residents. Being a ‘man at heart’ set Charles on an exciting journey that made him realize there was more to life. Wait for him—and let him reconnect with Emily in the process.
The series is said to be about “ageism, loneliness and Alzheimer’s” and is being produced by good place and hacker executive producer Morgan Sackett . it is inspired by Mole Agent Documentary, set in Chile.
The eight-part series also stars Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, Eugene Cordero, Margaret Avery, John Gates, Susan Rutan, Lori Chenchin, Clyde Kusatsu, Mark Evan Jackson, Jama Williamson, Yang Wyatt, Deus Basco, Lincoln Lambert and Kerry O’Malley.
