Go-Go Town launch trailer – town-building sim released on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch

Prideful Shop released Go-Go Town this week, and going along with that, we have a launch trailer. The town-building sim has come to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Plenty of details about it can be found in the following overview:

For anyone yet to be handed the keys to a suspiciously underprepared town, Go-Go Town! is a chaotic, yet cosy town-building sim where players step into the role of mayor and transform a sleepy stopover into a bustling tourist hotspot. Build shops, manage deliveries, attract visitors, automate production, customise your town, and try to keep everything running smoothly despite the best efforts of townsfolk, tourists, vehicles, power tools, and your own increasingly questionable planning decisions.

New mayors can get a head start with a free demo available now on Steam (Nintendo Switch coming soon!), giving players a taste of town life before signing on the dotted line.

At launch, players can expect the full mayoral toolkit:

    • Build and decorate your town with shops, factories, attractions, roads, and more.
    • Manage resources and logistics, hire helpful townsfolk, and zoom around in an increasingly unhinged variety of vehicles.
    • Customise not just your own look, but the town itself, swap in fresh new styles, personalise your home, and make every street feel like it was designed by a visionary civic planner, or at least someone with access to a colour picker and no adult supervision.

Launch day is just the beginning, as the team has also revealed a post-launch content roadmap, bringing even more ways to build, customise, cooperate, and lightly inconvenience your friends.

Later this year ‘Cooperative Chaos’ will introduce more ways for players to cause carnage, sorry, play together, with new group interactions, musical instruments, and other features shaped by player suggestions.

Then in early 2027 ‘Vehicle Customisation’ rolls into town with a brand-new shop dedicated to modifying your rides. Players will be able to add cool mods to their hot rods, unlock new vehicles, apply skins, custom colours, and decals, and attach trailers to upgrade carrying capacity. Because nothing says “responsible local government” like a fully customised delivery vehicle tearing through town with half a warehouse in tow.

Have a look at the Go-Go Town launch trailer below.
