Debuting in March from Oni Press, this sci-fi satire imagines a world where society’s richest are given an ultimatum: donate half their money to charity, or fight for their fortune in the gladiatorial ring . In particular, the show will tell the story of a billionaire whose ruthlessness is put to the test when he finds himself facing off against his ex-wife in the next fight to the death. Horvath originally planned to publish the comic through the crowdfunding platform Zoop. The comic’s Zoop page describes it as “an older project” that was “previously only available digitally” and will be “remastered with new fonts and colors.” “I’m delighted,” he said in a press release Free for all has found a home at Oni Press. The idea came from a huge frustration with the state of society about a decade ago, and with the problems in today’s world, it’s only become more relevant. I’m delighted that this book now has the opportunity to reach a wider audience.
