Welcome to the wonderland of the body’s working cells! The story “vividly demonstrated the inner workings of the human body through anthropomorphic cells, quickly capturing the hearts of readers and causing a sensation.”

The introduction reads: “The smallest protagonist in the history of movies – the human cell! There are an astonishing 37 trillion cells in the human body. Red blood cells that carry oxygen, white blood cells that fight bacteria, and countless other cells work tirelessly day and night to protect your health and life.

“High school student Nicole (Mana Ashida) and her father Shigeru (Sadao Abe). Due to Niko’s hard-working personality and healthy lifestyle, the cells in her body are always working happily. At the same time, the cells in Mao’s body are always complaining that he is exhausted due to the cruel working environment and his life is irregular and unhealthy.

“On the outside, they may look like a happy father and daughter, but deep down, their physical environments are very different. As their lively days pass, pathogens begin to creep into their bodies… Humans The most epic battle in the history of Cell, concerning the future of Niko and Shigeru, is about to begin!

The film is directed by Hideki Takeuchi and written by Yuichi Tokunaga. The film is said to be “a truly original visual feast that must be experienced on the big screen. This winter, embark on a thrilling journey inside your own body.”

Warner Bros. Japan will release “Cells at Work”! It will be released in Japanese theaters on December 13, 2024.
