New York Comic Con always makes for a crazy weekend in the city that never sleeps, and NYCC 2024 is no exception. Announcements blared from subway speakers directing out-of-town attendees to the correct trains that would take them to the Jacob Javits Convention Center, and the streets were filled with cosplayers paying homage to their favorite medium in various ways, Either Star Wars or one piece Even, oddly enough, Bruno Mars.
As usual we’re highlighting our favorite cosplays from the weekend, photography by Mineral blue. There’s plenty to enjoy at the three-day event, showcasing the best that New Yorkers (and beyond) have to offer the world of cosplay. Keep your eyes open for wild crossovers, scary clowns, some impressive large-scale costumes, and some of your favorite video game characters.
