bloomhouse horror film producer Jason Blum Provides the latest news on upcoming adaptations of popular video games dead by dawnit seems that fans will have to wait for a while.
At New York Comic Con, Bloom was asked about the film in an interview with CB, saying: “The script is being written. You know, we’re not going to put a movie on the schedule until we find the right script.”
He continued to manage expectations, saying, “Five Nights at Freddy’s took 10 years to make, and I think one of the reasons the movie was successful is that we spent 10 years trying to get it right.
“I hope we get a script that we like. We’re working on the script, but it could take five years, it could take 12 months. You just don’t know. You can’t make a movie until the script is right, and you don’t know what it takes for how long.
This is why many of Blumhouse’s films are so wonderful. They actually had the script ready and ready to go before they started shooting. I love that they took the time to work on the movie project.
