The film was originally released in Japan in November 2023, with 111,500 tickets sold in the first three days, priced at 160,106,620 yen (approximately US$1.07 million). As of January 28, the film’s cumulative box office revenue was 2,472,410,610 yen (approximately US$16.79 million).
Tsuyoshi Koga (Kitaro: Japan explodes!!, One Piece Sabo episode) directed the film as toei animationand Yoshino Hiroyuki (Macross Frontier, world triggera total of 13 episodes in 2018 Kitaro) wrote the script.
