Last but not least is everyone’s favorite. When players on both sides perform long-range explosive attacks, an explosion impact will occur. This can be a typical giant beam, or a giant ball of energy. Ranged attacks such as Piccolo’s Hell Grenade and Megazord Vegeta’s Chou Makouhou Barrage don’t count as they are split into multiple warheads. As long as there’s enough room for the attacks to collide without hitting their target, you’ll get a cool cutscene of projectiles hitting each other.

A meter will appear in the middle of the screen and charging will begin. Pressing the prompt next to it will convert the current charge to energy and reset the charge. If you don’t press any buttons before the meter reaches the end, it will similarly start over. Whoever converts the most energy wins the explosion.
There are two ways to become the best.
Method one
The first method is to press the button as quickly as possible. Honestly, if you are a fast masher, this is a really good choice.
Method two
Another way is to get it as close to the maximum as possible before pressing the button. You can also press the boost prompt to extend the length of the meter, although this is pointless if you use the first method.
I’d also like to point out that this mini-game functions differently if you use classic controls. Instead of pressing the prompt button to charge, you need to quickly rotate the left or right stick on your controller. Here’s a great review of how these beam conflicts have been handled before dragon ball game, I will never try it because the controller is expensive. But I respect the truly hardcore gamers who are unafraid and want to maximize nostalgia.
Even though most didn’t cause any significant damage Dragon Ball: Spark Zero‘s impact move can lead to great follow-up combos. Mastering them is a great way to improve how you play, whether online or in tough episodic battles.
