Well, now there’s even more games to explore, thanks to Olympic updates. This is the biggest and most exciting patch for the game yet, adding new weapons, new zones, new gods, and more.
As you may have gathered from the update title, the new area is Olympus, home of the gods. The trailer also shows off Athena, Prometheus (produced by final fantasy 16of Ben Starr), and a very Dionysus in plain clothes. It also introduces the final weapon in the game’s arsenal, the Blackcoat Sins. The new weapons are designed to shift your playstyle into fist-forward combat combined with the ability to launch rockets at enemies. Which means it looks bad. Other highlights of Supergiant include two new familiar characters, more customization at Crossroads, an expanded story, a world map, and Mac support.
Many fixes and adjustments have also been made to existing aspects of the game. Perhaps most notable are the changes to the Chronos boss fight, which will make a lot of people happy. With the Olympiad update, you can now pause grueling encounters and not worry about Titans Unpause And deprive you of a short break.
Supergiant notes that there’s more content to come, and the next big update certainly won’t be the last before the game’s full release.
