Disney has announced a new way to skip lines at the parks. But depending on where and when you go, you may need to spend more than $400 per person per day to use the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Disney’s new post-apocalyptic animation proves mice have good taste

Wednesday, Disney announced The company plans to launch new “Lightning Lane,” an existing program that allows guests to pay an extra fee to skip lines on certain rides at Disney World and Disneyland. Previously, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass allowed you to ride multiple times without queuing. Spends $32 per day per person, but prices may increase for various reasons. These passes force guests to choose a “skip the queue” arrival time, which can cause problems if you’re late. The new skip-the-line Premier Pass removes this restriction, but at a high cost.

as found game pointsthe new “Premier” pass – set to launch later this month –Spend up to $450 per person per day at Disney World. Prices vary based on the park and when you go, and Disney says the highest prices will be found on “a limited number of days during peak travel periods.”

Here are the prices for each park, but keep in mind you still need to purchase a park ticket, and at Disney World, only those staying at a Disney World hotel are eligible to purchase these new limited passes.

    • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $129 to $199
    • Epcot: $169 to $249
    • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $269 to $349
    • Magic Kingdom: $329 to $449

Meanwhile, at DisneylandPremier passes are $400 per person through December 31st.

2023, Disney CEO Bob Iger said The giant company is “overly aggressive” in raising park prices and wants to make parks more “accessible”. Hmm, that doesn’t seem like a good approach. Of course, you can say that people don’t need Buy these passes and they can wait in line, but the ride lines can be long and the wait sucks. Beyond that, the biggest attractions of Disney World and Disneyland are the rides! Making it more expensive to actually enjoy them seems contrary to making your parks more accessible to more people.
