The Dear Dory animatronic is an early Elf Halloween animatronic that is relatively large compared to some other animatronics released during the same period, this one standing 7 feet tall.

Her legend tells us that she started out as a creepy doll that Sally Smith found buried in the backyard of the new home her family had moved into in the 1930s, triggering a series of strange and disturbing happenings around the house. It was a creepy thing, and her mother blamed it on the doll. During a thunderstorm, Mrs. Smith attempts to rebury the doll back where she was found, but her shovel is struck by lightning and dragged into the grave, causing her to fuse with the doll after everything glows blue. .

Dolly has a very delicate porcelain doll face with red lipstick and glowing blue eyes (they can also flash red), as well as shoulder-length red hair (ish) in half curls and bangs. She was very stooped and wore a long, dirty light cream dress, a dirty gray shawl, and black muslin with a ruffled light tan collar. Her arms also have long speckled light and dark brown claws that extend almost like spider legs.
