While you wait for the next game in the live-action Tomb Raider series and Crystal Dynamics, Aspyr has another batch of classic remasters coming soon

It might be a while before we get to play Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming Tomb Raider game, but luckily, another round of Aspyr remasters is on the way.

Tomb Raider fans haven’t been able to play a new entry in the series since 2018, and the rights have changed hands a bit since then, but we do know that Crystal Dynamics is developing a new game. The anime just came out on Netflix yesterday, so there should be at least something to keep you watching, but there’s some good news for those of you who would rather play Tomb Raider than watch it. Aspyr, the studio behind the rather decent Tomb Raider trilogy remasters earlier this year, announced yesterday that it will also be remastering the fourth, fifth and sixth games in the series, which are expected to be released soon Published February 14, 2025.

These include The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and Angel of Darkness, so you’ll have even more content waiting for you to complete when the game launches. Like the first game, you’ll be able to use “original polygonal models or switch to remastered graphics at any time.” The last game, Dark Angel, wasn’t well-received upon release, so hopefully fans of the series will make some changes to make the game more interesting.

If you choose to buy them, you won’t break the bank, as the game collection is just £25 – in fact, if you pre-order on Steam you’ll get a 10% discount, which is pretty decent.

In addition to the new game from Crystal Dynamics, Amazon will launch a TV series directed by “Fleabag” creator and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” star Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The game was greenlit back in May, but it and Crystal Dynamics’ game may still be a while away from release, so these remasters may be the best way to satisfy your Tomb Raider cravings.
