Luckily for Reacher fans, Amazon’s hit series isn’t ending anytime soon.
Amazon has renewed the action-thriller for a fourth season ahead of its Season 3 premiere!
Reacher scores early contract extension
This isn’t surprising, as the series has also previously received an early renewal ahead of its hit second season, and despite our indifference, Thunderbolt’s first season performed extremely well.
This reflects Amazon’s confidence in the adaptation and Lee Child’s best-selling series.
There are plenty of episodes from TV shows that could be adapted into book series.
At this rate, Amazon seems intent on trying to accommodate them all!
That’s understandable, as Reacher Season 2 is Prime Video’s biggest success story in 2023.
Season 2 of “The Baller” breaks records and is renewed early
Season 2 was the most-watched release on Prime Video in 2023.
The show’s ratings soared 50% from the first season and ranked second on the Nielsen streaming rankings.
To say the head of Amazon is delighted with the series’ success would be an understatement.

With that in mind, it tracks why Amazon would give the green light to a spinoff, too.
Reacher spins off Neagley to expand franchise
Derivatives are very popular and many of them can hit or miss, but this one sounds particularly exciting.
Fan-favorite character Francis Neagley will star in a now-untitled Neagley spin-off, with Maria Sten set to reprise her role as Reacher partner.
Alan Ritchson will reprise his role in the spin-off and will likely pick up the torch when Stern takes center stage.
But until then, we can expect the dynamic duo to shine in Thunderbolts Season 3, which is expected to debut sometime in 2025.
“Reacher” Season 3 will be released in 2025
The third season will be adapted from the seventh book in the “Reacher” series “Persuader” by Lee Child.
It will find Reacher embarking on a dangerous undercover operation to rescue an informant.
Reacher will face an evil enemy that haunts him from the past.
Joining Alan Ritchson and Mariah Stein in Season 3 are Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos , Daniel David Stewart and Olivier Richters.
