Since his youth, Rees has lived in rural southeastern Australia, developing a deep connection with nature and a keen interest in science. As an artist, his work explores the diversity of life on Earth, the possibility of life beyond Earth, and the balance between civilization and the natural world. his impressive work Battle of the Deep: Below Zero Combining his knowledge of marine life with the creation of realistic alien creatures. Additionally, his personal projects, Berlin legend, It tells the story of an alien planet called Chriirah and its inhabitants.

Real-world natural history underpins much of my work, and over the course of my career I have had the opportunity to depict real animals, both living and extinct. My youthful experiences along the coast of south-eastern Australia gave me a particular interest in marine life, both living and extinct.

I originally left Kickstarter for the right reasons, and now I feel like I’m coming back for the right reasons. It was never about the website; This is about the decision of the previous management. I feel reassured by my conversations with KS executives, rank-and-file staff, and users and their adoption and compliance with the recommendations of the Community Advisory Committee. Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone is willing to step back and admit they are wrong when they happen.
