I love the use of mics like this for games, it feels like a perfect fit for the series. Past examples I can think of include Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory— which forces co-op players to whisper in-game to avoid enemies hearing — and hunt– It allows you to use the microphone to distract deadly guards. alien isolation Microphone detection functionality is also included. Hopefully it’ll also be in the just-announced sequel.
I really like these weird features as they add a whole new layer to the gameplay. But I’m also happy with most of them, like quiet place Games, optional. Otherwise, I would be killed for my cat coming in and meowing for attention.
