The Star Destroyer is one of the most famous starships in science fiction history, a massive piece of engineering with an iconic shape and style. If you’ve always wanted to build one, but you didn’t have the expertise or resources to turn 40 million tons of Rebel-crushing steel into tools of Sith superiority, well, there’s at least a LEGO version of it. The 1,555-piece Imperial Star Destroyer was added to the massive Star Wars LEGO lineup on August 1, but it’s already on sale at a deep discount on Amazon Prime Big Deal Days. Normally priced at $160, you can now get the Star Destroyer LEGO kit for just $112, a savings of $48.
This 30% off limited-time offer will disappear before the end of Big Deal Days – 75% of inventory has already been claimed – so you’ll need to act fast. You can also get LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Mos ESPA Podrace Diorama is 30% off, bringing the price down from $80 to $56.
Celebrating 25 years of LEGO designing Star Wars building sets, the Star Destroyer set comes with Kal Kestis minifigures from Star Wars Jedi: Survivors and Fallen Order.
Other cool features on this playset include a hidden folding carry handle, two spring-loaded shooters, a top panel that lifts up, and side panels that fold away when you want to get inside. Inside, you’ll find a bridge, command room, lounge, armory, control panels, a cargo crate containing kyber crystals, and thermal detonator components.
For minifigures, Kestis also includes Darth Vader, Commander Progi, an Imperial Gunner, an Imperial Marine, and a Stormtrooper.
When assembled, the set measures 6 inches tall, 18 inches long, and 11 inches wide. Impressive, most impressive!
