Halloween wouldn’t be Halloween unless someone adapted some of the vampire novels that are trending in comics for 2024. DC has World War 5 . Matt Wagner and Kelly Jones The second part of the Dracula story, featuring Dracula’s Bride, is aptly titled, Dracula Book 2: The Bride.
“One of the most chilling and unforgettable parts of the Dracula legend is the existence of his vampire bride,” writer Matt Wagner said of the second source material. “Whether it’s a novel or a series of film adaptations, the appearance of these beautiful and alluring sirens has always been an indelible part of the story. Of course, this gives us another dark and fascinating story. These women are in the process of becoming Tak Gu Who were part of the evil harem before him and how and why did he claim them to be his undead lovers? What role do they ultimately play in his ongoing saga?
“When Matt first told me that the second volume of our Dracula epic would be called The Bride, I was so excited,” said artist Kelly Jones. “And, wow… the story he wrote is absolutely chilling! And, make no mistake… this is not an attempt to put Contemporary agendas are shoehorned into the stories. One of the things I love about Matt’s scripts is the distinct lack of modernity that makes these stories feel entirely appropriate to the era in which they are set.
“Again, our Dracula is an absolute monster,” Wagner continued. “His relationships with anyone were purely based on self-interest and conquest. Whenever I wrote these stories, I always imagined how wonderfully Kelly would paint these scenes…how he would take my descriptions and transform them into something more Dramatic and scary stuff. Here are some compliments about the book:
“Updating one of history’s most famous horror stories while staying completely true to the source material is no easy task, but Wagner and Jones’ Dracula does it in glorious, terrifying, Lovecraftian style. This. This book evokes the classic elements and themes of Bram Stoker’s original novel while bringing a whole new level of horror to its most enigmatic character, Vlad Dracula himself. I absolutely enjoyed the art. Enjoy the story.
In our review, we also liked the original:
“Wagner and Jones approach their version of Dracula with a classic dark fantasy feel, not dissimilar to the kind found in the pages of old horror magazines like Creepy and Eerie. It’s fitting that it sets the stage for Dracula Ra creates a richly textured stage as he seeks guidance from Satan in the dark arts.
