Ubisoft announces a collection of 10,000 NFTs related to its upcoming games Captain Laser: The Game. The series will be available on Magic Eden and minted on Arbitrum, the Ethereum layer 2 network.
Holders of the NFT, known as Niji Warrior ID, will have early access to the top-down multiplayer shooter featuring characters from Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and Beyond good and evil.
NFTs will evolve as players progress, providing benefits and governance participation in the game.

A dystopian world inspired by the Netflix series Captain Laser Eagle: Blood Dragon Remix, The game will feature familiar characters from the Ubisoft series.

Ubisoft has yet to release full details on how these governance features will work, but NFTs are expected to play a role in decisions about game updates and changes.

Niji Warrior ID is expected to be released in the coming weeks, and thousands of players have already gained early access through beta testing and community challenges.
A closed beta in August required participants to sign a confidentiality agreement, limiting the release of footage. However, early reports indicate that the game will feature fast-paced multiplayer combat in a top-down shooter format.
The collection will be minted on Arbitrum, Ethereum’s layer 2 scaling solution and the first to introduce Arbitrum support on Magic Eden, which has previously been used on Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum and other networks Hosted projects on the Internet.
