Once Hate Story’s main quest takes you to Nahantu, you’ll meet Rahel the Blacksmith. He wants to introduce you to his mercenary friends, and you’ll choose one of them to follow you and fight alongside you relentlessly, and if you perform a specific action every 20 to 30 seconds, another one will appear. While the story has you tracking Nerrel’s trail as soon as you open the new central area of the lair, We strongly recommend you pump the brakes and get everyone together before doing anything else.
In other words, do the mercenary mission first. One, because their narratives are excellent and somewhat similar to mass effect 2mission of loyalty.
