SPIEL, the board game show in Essen, Germany, broke records with all tickets sold out on the day of the event. The four-day show attracted 204,000 visitors from around the world.
The show was held from October 3 to 6, with 932 suppliers showcasing 1,500 new products. This is the largest business-to-customer board game show in the world.
Exhibiting companies are represented by 52 countries from all continents.
This year’s SPIEL was a complete success, once again demonstrating the team’s close collaboration with the community and how it copes with the many challenges of the world’s leading exhibition.
The next SPIEL Essen will be held from October 23 to 26, 2025.
“The show is moving in a fantastic direction and we have big plans for the future to keep SPIEL current and attract exhibitors and visitors from around the world,” said Hess.
