On Saturday, the LEGO Group recognized its collaboration with musician, designer and director Pharrell Williams. It celebrates the Over the Moon series and this Friday’s release of little by littlea Williams biopic illustrated with Lego animation.
LEGO’s Over the Moon sets are available now in stores and online. The 966-piece set includes a black and gold space shuttle and an abacus made up of 49 minifigure heads, 30 of which are specially designed for the set. With Williams’ My Friend abacus, LEGO builders can take anyone along on a space-age journey and imagine themselves aboard a rocket. The space shuttle symbolizes a person’s unlimited potential; its colorful jets symbolize LEGO’s power of imagination, creativity and play.

The interactive experience includes a space station for attendees to build their own space shuttle and space station. They also have the opportunity to custom design T-shirts to take home.
little by little premieres in theaters Friday. Williams discussed the film’s release with director Morgan Neville on Saturday. “If this could happen to me, I want all kids to imagine what they can do,” Williams said.
Viewing the film through the lens of LEGO animation allows us to tell a universal story. Our reaction to the film was that a lot of people came away feeling inspired that they could be anything they wanted to be. I like that.
