Paramount Game Studios confirms that recently released Saber Interactive Space Marine 2a massive AAA role-playing game in development based on the hit animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
October 3, IGN report Paramount and Saber are developing a new action role-playing game that will be set in what Paramount calls the “Avatar Legends Universe,” an IP that Collaborated with Nickeldeon in 2005 “Avatar: The Last Airbender”. The game is being developed in partnership with Avatar Studios, a company created by series creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko to expand the series.
according to IGNThe game is still in “early development” so we don’t know much about what form it will take, but the company is calling it “the biggest video game in the series’ history.” It’s coming to PC and consoles and will tell a new story Avatar universe. The new story was developed “in close collaboration” with Avatar Studios and the creators of the original series.
As documented in the press release IGNa new AAA role-playing game that will star “an all-new, never-before-seen Avatar” and take place thousands of years before the original series begins. This is how Paramount and Saber describe the RPG:
