Apple plans to announce at the end of October that new Macs will go on sale on November 1, including the rumored Apple TV-sized Mac Mini. This is based on BurundiMark Gurman also writes in his book Power on Today’s newsletter claims that the iPad Mini is getting a late update, its first since 2021.
The Mac Mini is probably the most exciting update, as it’s rumored to get a major physical overhaul and feature a new M4 chip. Despite the reduced size, the M4 Pro version is likely to have a healthy connection spread (albeit without any USB-A ports).
Gurman said that in addition, Apple will launch MacBook Air with M4, redesigned iPhone SE, updated iPad Air (and accompanying Magic Keyboard) and new AirTags in the first half of 2025. Apple may also release updated versions of Mac Studio and Mac Pro in the middle and second half of next year respectively (not yet in the M3 upgrade cycle).
