That Fallout TV show was awesome, wasn’t it? In fact, it even got a ton of Emmy nominations and then went on to win a few of them. Now, Prime Video and Kilter Films are also celebrating hitting the 100 million global audience mark, roughly six months after the Amazon streaming platform launched.
The news, released via the show’s social media accounts, is sure to bolster Prime Video, Kilter Films, and Bethesda’s confidence in a second season that, if the season 1 finale is any indication, will be filled with new Vega content.

Ashes of Life has surpassed the 100 million-stream mark, right on the heels of The Lord of the Rings: Ring of Power… surpassing all other shows on the platform, at least in terms of Prime Video exclusives. Yes, the nonsense and scammers on the internet would have you believe that the Middle-earth series is a colossal failure, but the reality is quite the opposite, and even Season 2’s numbers are taking a little longer to take off.
For reference, as of this writing, Ring of Thrones Season 1 has been watched by over 150 million people worldwide since the end of 2022. A bit more impressive and cements its place as Prime Video’s second-place finisher.
Of course, the series’ success with critics and audiences has translated into a huge boost in Fallout game sales and even increased spending on Fallout 76’s ongoing live streaming service, which is exactly what big companies are hoping to get out of a big-budget adaptation. The results obtained in the best works.
Will this translate into more Fallout spin-offs before Bethesda Game Studios completes The Elder Scrolls 6 and moves on to Fallout 5 in a few years? We’d like to think so, but given the recent mess that Xbox and Bethesda have been having on a management and guidance level, maybe we won’t be able to play new Fallout 76 content until the early 2030s.
