You can find the chainsaw at the beginning of the game along the path to Silent Hill. The path takes you through the woods to the cemetery, where you first meet Angela. Further on is the lumber yard, and if you check the right side of the road as you pass by, you’ll find a chainsaw sticking out of a pile of logs, waiting for you to grab it.
The original Silent Hill 2 also featured other weapons, including the powerful Super Spray and Pyramid Head’s broadsword. We’re still exploring Silent Hill and looking for these and any other weapons, and we’ll update these guides as we discover more.
