He’s a welcome addition to any cast, and now the actor is making his Broadway debut in the revival Elf the Musicalin which he will play Santa Claus.
Astin will partner with rival Gray Hansen (mean girl, humiliated) who will play Buddy the Elf.
Elf the MusicalReturning to Broadway for the first time in more than a decade, the show begins previews at the Marquis Theater on Saturday, November 9, and officially opens on Sunday, November 17.
Following two record-breaking holiday seasons in London’s West End in 2022 and 2023, Broadway will return.
