Recently there were reports that Evan Peters and Ryan Murphy are co-developing a new series for FX called beauty. Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramosand Jeremy Pope will also star in the play,
This series is adapted from the image comic series of the same name created by the author Jeremy Haun and Jason Hurley.
The description of the story goes like this: “Modern society is obsessed with external beauty. What if there was a way to ensure that you became more and more beautiful every day? What if it was a sexually transmitted disease?
“In the world of ‘beauty’, physical perfection is achievable. Most people take advantage of it, but Detectives Foster and Vaughn will soon discover that it comes at a terrible cost.
Murphy recently provided more details about the series, saying it will be a Game of Thrones-scale story inspired by Oxempic culture.
He told Variety: “This is something I’ve never done before, which is a sci-fi medical show about a new virus that mutates and is sexually transmitted and turns you into a Your absolute perfection. The question is, how far will you go for beauty? What will you sacrifice for it, and does it matter?
“That show is focusing on, what I call, Ozempic culture. One tap and all of a sudden you’re going to look better, feel better, and all your problems will go away. But what are you really doing? What’s wrong with you, what do you think? Do you need to do this? Sometimes it’s health, sometimes it’s vanity.
He continued: “It’s very different. It was shot in Europe – Venice, Rome and Paris. It was a very big budget, a bit like Game of Thrones on a scale.
It sounds like it’s going to be a fun series.
