Mattel promotes Roberto Stanich. The former Hot Wheels senior vice president and global head of vehicles will now serve as Hot Wheels executive vice president and head of vehicles and building kits.

The Hot Wheels brand is a popular automotive franchise brand for children and adults alike. It includes live experiences, products, content, digital games and Netflix series, Hot Wheels Let’s Racenow in its second season. In addition to being the number one toy in the world, Hot Wheels generated total sales of $1.6 billion for Mattel. Hot Wheels Let’s Race Ranked among Netflix’s top ten TV series in 27 countries.
Stanage is also credited with transforming Disney Pixar Cass As an evergreen brand. He is responsible for supervising Thomas and his friends Franchise and MEGA’s building set categories.
Stanage also played a key role in driving Matchbox’s sustainability efforts and solidifying Disney-Pixar Cars as an evergreen brand. With his expanded responsibilities, he now oversees the Thomas & Friends franchise and the building set category led by MEGA.
