A study by the LEGO Group shows that 71% of parents believe their children will continue to play digitally in the real world. More than 60,000 parents and their children from 36 countries were surveyed. More than a third of children (36%) say they enjoy digital and analog games equally. 75% of parents surveyed said they would feel more comfortable if their children’s digital gaming also involved real-world interactions.

To this end, the LEGO Group plans to expand its play sets, offering more products next year so that children can expand their creativity in the real world after playing with familiar characters in the digital world. The LEGO Group will sell two Sonic the Hedgehog Playsets launched in January follow on from this year’s hit playsets Sonic the Hedgehog 3 The movie is released in December, and a year-long celebration of SEGA games is planned for next year.

Sega isn’t the only gaming company: The LEGO Group plans to release Nintendo World-themed sets Super Mario and ANIMAL CROSSING, fort nightand minecraft – All attributes that exist as a video game itself and as a LEGO digital game.
