Marvel made a bold announcement yesterday about upcoming content for their Ultimate Universe series. Launching this January is the new Ultimate Guardians of the Galaxy, along with the series’ long-awaited showdown between Black Panther and Moon Knight.
“The creative goal we set for ourselves at Ultimates—besides telling a complete story every issue—was to create (or reinvent) characters interesting enough to sustain readers’ imaginations and their own series. If necessary). Whether we succeed on either front is up to the readers, but the response so far has been extraordinary and I’m doing my best to make myself worthy of it. . Denizkamp explained. “Issue eight introduces the Ultimate Guardians of the Galaxy, and I hope readers enjoy meeting the heroes of the future as much as I enjoy writing about them! It’s our most cosmic issue yet, and it’s all 20 pages long The Life and Death of the Universe, and exploring new aspects of the Ultimate Universe with Ultimate American Chavez, he quickly became a favorite of mine.
If that wasn’t enough, the upcoming Spider-Man adaptation of the Kraven’s Last Hunt storyline will also pay homage to the original, including Kingpin’s Sinister Six. Finally, the Ultimate X-Men series united the franchise’s team of mutants, naming Maystorm as their official leader.
