Seedworld, a web3 gaming platform focusing on UGC, has officially launched its Seed Roots NFT sale today, September 30, 2024 at 13:00 UTC.
The sale offers 20,000 Seed Roots NFTs in 30 tiers, with each tier varying in price and supply.
The first 6 tiers are limited to select participants, while the public sale will open with tier 7 on October 4.

Seed Roots are the foundational NFT in the Seedworld ecosystem, allowing holders to provide funding to developers and creators.
These NFTs enable participants to support the creation of new content on the platform. In return, Seed Roots holders will be rewarded with $SWORLD, Seedworld’s native token.
Seed Roots NFTs also have upgrade potential, increasing their utility over time. They are designed to integrate with other platform assets such as Land NFTs, creating opportunities for higher rewards.

Seed Roots sales are divided into 30 levels, each with different offerings and prices.
The sale starts at Tier 1, offering 1,509 NFTs for $500 (equivalent to ETH). As levels increase, the higher the level, the fewer NFTs offered and the higher the price.
Tier 7 marks the start of the public sale and will contain 943 NFTs priced at $1,130 (equivalent to ETH) and will go on sale on October 4 at 13:00 UTC.
Once purchased, all Seed Roots NFTs will be transfer-locked for 12 months, with exceptions in certain circumstances, such as compromised wallets.

Seed Roots enables holders to issue grants to developers and creators within Seedworld without participating in the traditional DAO voting process.
Rewards for Seed Roots holders will be generated through in-game transactions involving $SWORLD tokens and the platform currency Ame.
Seed roots can be upgraded over time and expand their functionality. This includes the option to connect them with Land NFTs to unlock additional functionality and earning potential.
Seedworld also announced that 15% of Seed Roots sales revenue will be used for token buybacks of $SWORLD, which will help support the platform’s token economy.

Seedworld plans to introduce additional features to Seed Roots in several phases.
Initially, holders will be able to stake $SWORLD tokens to earn rewards. Future phases will introduce additional features such as leveling up, prediction markets, and participating in in-game activities to increase the chances of reward generation.
Participants who purchase Seed Roots before the $SWORLD Token Generation Event (TGE) on October 11th will receive 20% of the tokens unlocked when the event occurs.
