Google’s first leaks of the fall have been released, with new renders of the upcoming Pixel 9A posted online for the world to see. Like the Pixel 8A that leaked earlier this year, Android headlines Images of Google’s next budget Series A release have once again been obtained, this time via leakswhich is what ruined the recent Pixel 9 series.
According to reports, the big change for the Pixel 9A is that its camera housing no longer has Google’s now-iconic visor look. Instead, there appear to be two cameras in a pill-shaped module that sits almost flush with the back of the phone. The camera flash is set up on the right side, making it look like the rear of the iPhone 7 Plus, but enlarged. The rest of the body looks similar to other Pixel 9 devices as well as current iPhones, with the bezels around the screen looking thin.
Android headlines Noting that the 9A may ship with Android 15 and that it may be the last Google device to include a Samsung-based Tensor chip, Google will continue to use TSMC for future processors in 2025. This is usually during Google I/O, so it might be a while before we have all the details.
