Prime Video has released the first trailer for Blumhouse’s upcoming two-part Halloween special, killer cake. This is a horror-themed baking show hosted by Matthew Lillard (“Scream,” “Five Nights at Freddy’s”).
Killer Cakes is a one-of-a-kind competition show where bakers with terrifying skills try to win some of the scariest challenges in television history.
Contestants will “work with some of Hollywood’s best horror special effects artists, unleashing their twisted imaginations to create cakes so disgusting, so unsettling, and so lifelike they’re the stuff of nightmares.”
Special’s expert judges include scream queens Danielle Harris (halloween ) as well as experimental food artists and cookbook authors Nick Alcaraz (unique bake).
Ruth Amsel Serves as showrunner for the two-part special and serves as executive producer Jason Blum and Gretchen Palek Blumhouse Television, and David George and Scott Feeley High Noon Entertainment for ITV America. Lillard also serves as executive producer.
Killer Cakes will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on October 8th.
