Dragon Age: The Veiled Guard just released a new gameplay trailer at Sony’s State of Play, which includes a tense boss battle with a dragon, as well as some cinematic climaxes in the overall narrative.
In it, you can see some magic at work, some more voice-acted characters, and the culmination of Veil Keeper’s antagonistic powers. Not just one withered dragon, but two! It all looks a lot like Dragon Age, although the action system is very different from what we saw just a few years ago. You can check it out for yourself below!
The game is set to release on October 31, making it Bioware’s biggest launch in some time. It previously struggled a bit with Anthem and has come a long way from the cachet achieved by the original Dragon Age game and the series like Mass Effect. Can the Bioware team recapture that magic? We won’t have to wait long to find out.
