Batman fans can spend the next few weeks in Rocksteady’s Arkham universe, now on the page and soon in virtual reality. The comprehensive edition of Batman: Arkham Legends was released this week, featuring a wealth of exciting comic book stories set in the world of the popular game series. this The 1,648-page masterpiece “Batman: The Arkham Chronicles” comprehensive collection The hardcover version of the book sells for $107 on Amazon, which is much cheaper than the $150 price. It’s no surprise that the new Batman Comics Omnibus is Amazon’s #1 best-selling new DC book.
You have a few weeks to read it before jumping back into the virtual world of Batman: Shadow of Arkham, a Meta Quest 3 exclusive that releases on October 22nd. Shadow is bundled with the new Meta Quest 3S, which releases on October 15th and starts at $300, as well as the heavily reduced price of Meta Quest 3.

With Batman: Arkham Asylum becoming a huge hit upon its release in 2009, DC Comics didn’t waste any time creating additional content for fans to delve into. This comprehensive collection collects all the backstory of the Arkham comics, from the Dark Knight’s first years on the streets in Batman: Arkham Origins to the dark and deadly arc of Batman: Arkham Knight Genesis story and everything in between. These are all fantastic mini-series and stand-alone series, helmed by some of DC’s best creators, and Batman: Unhinged has added to the line-up known for being a digital-first series. Although it was later reprinted in traditional comic book form, it’s nice to have it included among the other series in this comprehensive collection. Another cool thing about this hardcover is that the illustrations from the Arkham City series are drawn by Carlos D’Anda, who collaborated with Rocksteady on Batman and his rogues in the Arkham games The gallery has undergone some unique redesigns.
It’s worth seeing how these games were put together, and there’s a great book detailing all of this work, although it’s pricey as it’s out of print. If you haven’t played all three of Rocksteady’s Arkham games, you can pick up Batman: The Arkham Collection for $7.49 through the weekend on GameSpot sister site Fanatical.
The collection includes Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight—sorry, friends, no Arkham Origins—and the 86% discount is unbeatable. Not only do you get a bunch of outdated games, but you also get all the DLC and expansion pass content. Batman Graphic Novel and Omnibus New Releases
Batman: Arkham Chronicles isn’t the only new 2024 omnibus or graphic novel featuring the Caped Crusader and his Gotham City foes. One of the highlights is The absolute Batman version of Grant Morrison and Dave McKean’s Arkham AsylumNot surprisingly, this became the inspiration and title for Rocksteady’s first Batman game. Absolute Batman: Arkham Asylum releases in August and is 25% off on Amazon. Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight: Conqueror Also getting the Absolute Batman treatment this month, you can save on the hardcover copy, too.
The premium Absolute Batman hardcover collection is great, but it’s not the only one reissuing classic Batman stories. DC has also re-released some great Batman books, called DC Finest. batman years one and two is the first book in the new DC Finest series. The $40 paperback has nearly 600 pages and is expected to be released on November 5.
