Samsung just held a huge event – launching 4 new Galaxy devices, including the new Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

On Thursday, September 26, Samsung hosted an event in New York to show off a number of new devices, including new tablets, phones, and watches.

As expected, Samsung released the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra at this time of year. Interestingly, there is no base model this year, so you won’t find the entry-level Galaxy Tab S10 in this series.

We also got a glimpse of the new Galaxy S24 FE, an affordable addition to the Galaxy S24 lineup launched earlier this year. Finally, Samsung has launched a new watch with cellular support.

As mentioned at the beginning, Samsung killed off the base model, so there is no Galaxy Tab S10 to succeed last year’s 11-inch Galaxy Tab S9.

This year, there are only two tablets to choose from: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ (12.4 inches) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (14.6 inches).

Interestingly, unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S10 tablet is no longer powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Instead, they come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.

As Liliputing points out, this is interesting because MediaTek is generally known for being in budget devices (and the Galaxy Tab S10 series isn’t considered a budget tablet). But Samsung claims that their CPU performance has increased by 18% and graphics performance has also increased by 28%.

We got to test these claims for ourselves when we sent the new tablet for review.

With Samsung putting a lot of emphasis on artificial intelligence, it’s no surprise that the Book Keyboard (which can be attached to the tablet) now has the new Galaxy AI keys, giving you easy access to the artificial intelligence assistant previously released with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series this year.

Galaxy AI features include sketch-to-image conversion, circle search, and note-taking assistance. In addition, there is a handwriting help function to assist in organizing your John Hancock.

Samsung also claims that the new Galaxy Tab S10 series also has “long-lasting battery life” and ultra-fast charging capabilities.

In addition to the new processor, new features include improved speaker settings and an enhanced AI-driven “dialogue enhancement” feature that enhances sound in video and audio recordings.

The Galaxy Tab S10+ starts at $999.99, while the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra starts at $1,199.99.

    Samsung Galaxy Watch FE LTE

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE was launched in June, but the company revealed that the watch will gain Galaxy AI features found on the pricier Galaxy Watch 7 series, giving users a more personalized understanding of their health.

Additionally, the company also launched a new LTE version of the Galaxy Watch FE. In other words, you’ll have the opportunity to answer calls, send messages and track your progress from anywhere – even when you’re not connected to your phone.

Galaxy Watch FE LTE starts at $249.99.

    Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

If you think the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is too expensive and offers too many bells and whistles for your taste, then the new Galaxy S24 FE is for you.

Here’s a quick look at the specs:

    • 6.7-inch AMOLED display

    • 4,700 mAh battery

    • Exynos 2400 chipset

Borrowing designs from Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, the FE model also comes with a 50MP wide-angle lens. It also features an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. In addition, the phone also supports a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10MP selfie camera.

As you may have guessed, the Galaxy S24 FE also supports Galaxy AI, so you can enjoy the following features:

    • Make edits (move objects in the photo or delete them)

    • Portrait Studio (reimagines selfies as cartoons, comics, and other visuals)

    • Editorial suggestions (remove reflections and other defects)

    • Instant slow motion

The Galaxy S24 FE starts at $649.99 and comes in four colors: blue, mint, gray, and graphite.
