Helldivers 2’s galactic war has taken a new turn, with the second major order deployed since the last patch helping some new faces return to the Super Earth ranks, and it’s a pretty big one. There is an “Interstellar Battle Station” to build, and it’s up to you to choose where to build it.
Yes, it looks like players who were given supplies to build a massive base in one of July’s MOs will actually get one eventually. You love seeing it.

As Helldiver 2 community manager Twinbeard wrote in the announcement of the latest order, the failure of the last one “proves [the] An interstellar battle station is urgently needed”, continuing: “Today, after intense studies, the construction of the democratic space station is ready to begin.
“The DSS will be a powerful strategic tool for reshaping the galactic map, guided democratically by the Helldivers themselves,” they explained. “To achieve this goal, orbital construction sites must be secured. Both planets have Magnetosphere large enough for safe construction: Gaellivare Both are under the control of automatons, and the final choice is made by the Helldiver.

“DSS can change the course of the war. Its ultimate success or failure depends on our greatest heroes: the Helldivers.”
Then, there is no pressure. So far, Gaellivare seems to be one of the theo Auomaton-controlled options that most players will choose, as its liberation rate currently stands at 12% as of this writing, while Clasa’s liberation rate is 0. However, the order is still a long way off – less than five days – so everything could easily change.
Whatever happens, hopefully MO-centric divers won’t be too frustrated with those who just love killing bugs, having to evict bots from both options of the command.
