Oh dear. According to Techcrunch, the post has now been deleted, but clicking on it took people to a phishing website that asked them to connect to a crypto wallet in order to claim non-existent “$OPENAI” tokens. This is not the first time OpenAI has been the victim of a hacker attack. The personal accounts of key employees, including chief technology officer Mira Murati, chief scientist Jakub Pachocki and researcher Jason Wei, have been previously leaked and used to promote fake coins.
