Marvel Studios unexpectedly releases trailer Thunder* The movie will be released on May 2, 2025.
directed by Jack Schreier (beef), Thunder* gather together Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbor, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John Kamen, Olga Kurylenkoand Julia Louis-Dreyfuscharacters from black widow, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,etc. In the film, Louis-Dreyfus stars as the evil CIA director Contessa Valentina “Val” Allegra de Fontaine, who is assembling a new team comprised of characters from across the Marvel Universe. A darker, more shadowy cast of heroes—assuming, of course, that they can work together to survive long enough.
The trailer opens with two extended scenes of Pugh’s Yelena Belova visiting her adoptive father Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (“Port”) and talking about her post-Black Widow How empty is contract life. Soon, she encounters U.S. Agent (Russell), The Ghost (John Kamen) and Taskmaster (Koryenko) in an apparent trap after embarking on what they believe to be a mission to rescue “Bob” Decoration)(Louis Pullman).
Bob happens to be Bob Reynolds, aka the Sentinel, one of the most powerful superheroes in the Marvel Universe. Created for his own series in 2000 by Paul Jenkins, Jae Lee, and uncast Rick Veitch, Bob is often a liability and as dangerous as a hero to others, but time will tell if he becomes a friend Or the enemy in it.
We also get a brief glimpse of Mel (Geraldine Viswanathan), Val’s lieutenant, the Countess is revealed to be the mastermind of the new organization. The end of it all seems to reveal how Stan’s Butch crossed paths with Yelena and the others, and he came to rescue/arrest the group when they were rescued by Yelena’s father.
Thunder* Published on May 2 Captain America: Brave New World (released on February 14) and Fantastic Four: The First Step (July 25, 2025). as previously disclosed Kevin Feigeviewers will have to watch the movie to find out why there’s an asterisk in the title. In the meantime, check out the teaser poster, too, which features the main cast (including Pullman’s Bob) having a good old time:
