Do you want to add a touch of magic to your garden? Check out Erin St Blaine’s latest tutorial and learn how to create some amazing garden path lights for yourself.
This DIY project uses Adafruit’s Feather Huzzah ESP32 microcontroller and NeoPixel LEDs to create a modular, weatherproof crystal path that can be controlled from any smartphone or browser over WiFi. Plus, with the WLED app, you can set dazzling light animations and sunset timers to make your garden come alive at dusk.
From the guide:
Transform your garden into a nocturnal wonderland with crystal paths of twinkling lights.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to build your own modular, weather-resistant road light that’s anything but ordinary. These lights are fully controllable using free, open-source WLED software, so you can create dazzling light shows in your backyard, no coding required. Sync multiple strips together using a local WiFi network. Use your smartphone or any web-enabled browser to control and program your lights so they turn on at sunset and off again at any time of your choosing.
