Diablo 4Hell Tribe brings the onslaught of Hell itself, but what is this mode really about and what is the point of embarking on a quest for massive bloodshed? You know, beyond natural contentment.
Diablo 4 The new Hell Tribe brings a roguelike barrage hell to the game, letting you die over and over again trying to win. When exactly will you embark on this journey through fire, hell and demons? Let’s discuss how to deal with the challenges and what rewards await us in the end.
How to access the Hell Horde in Diablo 4
To participate in the new mode, you must first be in World Level 3 or higher, which means you must complete the main story questline and travel through the Capstone Dungeons to reach the new Intense mode. Luckily, it’s accessible through both seasonal and eternal realms, so as long as you pass the MSQ and capstone on a character in either realm, you can access the Hell Tribe.
Starting from the third level of the world, you will receive the mission “Eye of the Enemy” as a priority mission when entering the world. At the end of the quest line you will get your first quest hell compass This allows you to break through the gates of hell for the first time.
As of now, the difficulty range is between level 1 and level 8, with level 1 enemies starting at level 60 and level 8 enemies going all the way up to level 200. high.
Rewards for completing Hell Tribe

Hell offers are available at the end of each wave, allowing you to choose between three random boons and banes as long as you survive. These “temptations” will change the strength of the tribe, making things more interesting and earning you greater rewards for completing waves. Infernal offers stack throughout the run, so be sure to choose wisely, as in Hatred Realm, becoming overwhelmed and cranking the difficulty too high can be the difference between life and death.
At the end of a frantic 60-second wave of killing, you’ll go head-to-head with corrupt priests known as the “Corrupted Council” in an attempt to score some big loot. When you can see the Council will depend on your level. For example, Level 1 has a total of 5 waves of enemies to defeat before you meet the Council, while Level 8 has 10 waves. It’s spent on loot from Hell’s Chests. Options include Equipment Loot, Advanced Equipment Loot, Material Loot, and Gold Loot.
Equipment loot contains Legendary, Unique, or Mythic Unique equipment with a chance to earn larger affixes. Premium gear loot will contain the same type of loot as regular gear boxes, but with guaranteed premium bonus scrolls.
The stakes are relatively high due to the limited number of resurrections, and once those are exhausted, you’ll be lost among the demons of Hell.
You can upgrade these hell tribes just like you would upgrade a nightmare dungeon, but you can use Abyssal Scrolls to activate difficulty upgrades. Collecting the Infernal Compass can be accomplished by opening chests in Hell’s Tides, opening chests from Whispering Bounties, or completing Nightmare Dungeons or Abyss.
As for obtaining Abyssal Scrolls, the ability to obtain them from salvage compasses is no longer an option, meaning you’ll need to farm them from Helltide Mystery Chests or loot them from material loot at the end of Hell’s Hordes. However, the loot drop rate is not 100%, so be careful.
