GENESEE TWP., Mich. (WNEM) – A collectibles market drew shoppers to Genesee Township on Sunday for the Collectors Overload Super Sale
The event was hosted by Nu 4U Media and featured a wide range of items including vinyl records, video games, rare Pokémon cards, VHS tapes, comic books and more
Organizers describe the market as a destination created specifically for people who love collecting, buying, selling and discovering unique items from every generation
Michael Williams, owner of Nu 4U Media, said demand for physical media is driving interest
“They’re wanting VCR’s, they’re wanting tapes, they’re wanting record players, turntables, people are going back for sure. They want physical media. It’s that nostalgia if you can get a sealed album today from the 80s or 70s you get to open that you get to smell it. It’s a different experience than being online” said Williams
The business hopes to hold another super sale in August
