Card battle racing game MixMob will launch its second season on September 17 with more than $50,000 in cryptocurrency rewards.
Players will compete for exclusive digital collectibles, including limited-edition skins inspired by Stormtroopers from the hit Star Wars series.
The new season will also bring new tracks and secret pop-up events, providing players with additional opportunities to earn in-game rewards and cryptocurrency prizes.
What is MixMob?
MixMob is a web3 game built around three core activities: Racing, Raiding and Remixing.
Players known as MixBots participate in these activities in an effort to restore creativity and culture in a world controlled by the AI Helix-9.
-
- Racing: Racing is at the heart of MixMob, where players can customize their MixBots and compete in high-speed races. These players seek adrenaline and admiration as they challenge their opponents on the ground, pushing their skills to the limits to achieve MixMob immortality.
- Raid: For those who prefer to avoid direct confrontation, Raiding allows players to upgrade their MixBot by exploring the surface and looting valuable resources. Successful attackers not only upgrade their MixBot, but also gain access to in-game treasures that can be used to improve their performance.
- Mix: MixMob empowers players to become in-game creators. Through the MixMob Marketplace, anyone can design and sell customized looks and fashions for avatars and MixBots, allowing players to build their own cultural influence and become trendsetters in the MixMob community.
MixMob integrates two key tokens into its ecosystem – $MXM and SUD$. $MXM is the game’s primary governance and utility token and is used to purchase items, enter tournaments, stake, and participate in Pop-Up Arenas. As a soul-bound token, SUD$ remains in the game’s internal economy and is not affected by market fluctuations, providing a stable in-game currency.
The game is currently in open beta and can be played on Android, iOS, and web browsers.
What are your expectations for Season 2?
Season 2, titled MixTroopers Arrival, marks a major update for MixMob, giving players new ways to participate in the game and earn rewards.
The highlight of the season is the launch of the MixTrooper skin, inspired by famous pop culture franchises such as Star Wars. These skins cannot be purchased directly and can only be unlocked by completing daily tasks and performing well in matches.
In addition to skins, this season will see the launch of HyperDrive Rally tracks designed to challenge players with fast-paced gameplay and complex turns. Players will also need to keep an eye out for pop-up arenas, which appear randomly and offer opportunities to win rare in-game assets.
These arenas are inspired by pop-up culture and will be available for a limited time, rewarding quick and strategic participation.
How to get rewards in Season 2?
MixMob players can earn $MXM tokens by racing, completing daily tasks, and staking tokens for additional rewards.
The battle pass system will track progress throughout the season, allowing players to unlock more rewards as they advance. Points earned by completing missions can be used to purchase in-game items, skins, and cryptocurrency.
Another new feature in Season 2 is the MixTrooper Sticker Pack, a collection of stickers that players can collect by winning matches and participating in tournaments. Upon completing the full set, players will be eligible for exclusive end-of-season airdrops, which may include rare in-game items or cryptocurrency rewards.
For competitive players, Season 2 will include the MXM League, with weekly tournaments where players can earn league points. The top players at the end of the season will be eligible to participate in the MXM League Championship to compete for the biggest rewards of the season.
Players can also join teams to compete on Crew leaderboards and share rewards for successful teams.
