Those hoping to get into The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom might want to be careful, as the ROM appears to have been leaked.
It seems like you can’t spend a lot of time online these days without worrying about spoilers, and as leak culture continues to take hold, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to avoid them. Now, the ROM for Echoes of Wisdom, the next installment in Nintendo’s “The Legend of Zelda” series, appears to have leaked online (via Eurogamer). Earlier this week, YouTube user Nintendo Prime posted a video claiming that they had seen a link to a ROM online containing the entire game and had “confirmed” it was authentic. Nintendo Prime has yet to share any of the leaked footage online, noting that they’re only confirming it’s “part of my job” and telling fans to “stop asking” for it because piracy is “illegal and doing so will end your career.”
