
Unless you’re living under a rock this summer (which, to be fair, might be a good hiding place for the Alien since it’s so far away from space), Alien: Romulus There was a buzz both for the Alien franchise and for Disney (which owns the franchise due to the Fox acquisition). To match this, a new front-page comic titled Alien: Romulus #1 has been announced for release on October 16th, written by: Zach Thompson And by Daniel Picciotto.
New issue reveals tragic events aboard space station revival Before Wren, Andy and their crew encountered aliens on the abandoned ship. Like the original film, this is a story about survival against a vast, unknown threat—full of body horror and slimy alien encounters.
“The Alien franchise is the reason for my lifelong love of body horror, so needless to say, I’m excited to have a small contribution to the canon,” Thompson shared in a statement from Marvel. “With Feder Alvarez co-produces prequel Alien: Romulus This is truly a dream come true and a responsibility I don’t take lightly. The result is an exciting, terrifying story that slowly develops into something completely unpredictable.
The comic is working closely with the filmmakers, including the director Fede Alvarez. If that wasn’t enough, Marvel’s strategy of focusing on the newly licensed 20th Century Fox series finally seems to be in full swing, especially with their overt use of the Predator and Alien franchises in their Marvel comic book series.
