Welcome to the jungle. We have fun and games. And by fun and games, we mean gut-wrenching dual-boss battles with the Tormentor and the Conqueror. None of them are scary on their own, but there are legions of Shadows standing between you and the software you’re about to pour millions of rounds of ammo into.
After landing in the jungle area, raise your flag. The conqueror Exenios took the lead. There’s nothing special about Eexonios other than the huge health bar. He still uses the same stationary slugs and smash attacks as his lesser kin. As mentioned before, the biggest annoyance here is how many Shadow Legions spawn when you try to cause trouble here, and to make matters worse, these guys are all beefed up for protection.
Cleaning the house took a little longer than usual, but they were still as silly as ever. So, take the grunt out of the equation, keep in constant motion around the area, and if you can get a few shots into Exenios while doing so, by all means. But in the end, it’s just you and Stasis McSkinnyjeans. Prepare a good surgical weapon and deliver a powerful single shot to his head, and stay alert to make sure you don’t get surrounded by stasis crystals at the wrong moment. Once you drain 30% of his health, he will disappear. The yellow shield in the middle of the area will disappear and you can grab the blue mod inside. Use it to open a portal and you’ll meet Eexonios’ fearsome partner in crime, Iizira.

Iizira is another Tormentor, so you already know what to do by now: aim for the head and shoulder armor. There are a few Shadow Legions wandering the narrow corridors, but they’re easy to deal with. Kill them at your leisure while dealing damage to Iizira. However, just like Eexonios, once you lose a third of his health, he will disappear, dropping a blue mod in the process. Head to the other side of the room and drop down. Kill the Legion here, take a quick breather, and then head to the next portal. Eexonios is back. This area is narrower and less vertical than the jungle you land in, so explosives are more useful here as a means of crowd control. Section 2, same as Section 1: take out Legion, then focus on Exonios until he drops a blue module and tag Izira again through the next portal.
So, the bad news is that the second area of Iizira is a respawn restricted area, so if you fought these guys through attrition before, that’s the end of it. Izira’s armor doesn’t help here, meaning his weak spots are easier to hit, but he’s in a more aggressive state and has an easier time pulling off grab moves that wipe out most of your health. At least the good news is that Iizira’s second room counts as a checkpoint, so if you’re wiped out, the battle begins here. Either way, the same principle applies: destroy the Legion first. That said, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of the stairs and open portals in this area to prevent Iizira from effectively dive-bombing you and forcing him to do his preferred floating jumps, thus keeping him open. Once he disappears here, grab the blue mod for the final showdown through the new, unlocked portal.
Now you’ll be forced to face both of them at the same time. They share a health bar, though, so any damage here is good damage, and of course, now is a great time to pop your super. Regardless, if you’re looking for something like a safe zone, none of these guys seem smart enough to effectively chase you behind the portal you spawn here. Anyway, complete the quest, open the chest on the stairs on the other side of this area, and go through the portal.
