Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2 features plenty of bloody third-person carnage and hordes of enemies, but most importantly, it also has tons of armor options to ensure you look your best. While you can’t control the appearance of your personal armor during the campaign, you can customize your armor in PvE Operations and PvP Eternal War modes. There are seven sets of increasingly rare standard armor that can be unlocked by completing missions in both modes, as well as a set of DLC armor for the Heavy.
In addition to the new armor sets (which you can see below), there are 30 different colors to unlock. Twelve of these options are paid DLC, but the other 18 can be unlocked using currency earned from playing these modes. These colors can be used to redo your entire armor set, although you can also select primary, secondary, and tertiary colors in the Customize Armor screen, where you can also choose different emblems to display on your armor. Specific pieces of each suit of armor can’t be mixed and matched, but there are still plenty of options to let your personality shine as you slay xenos and traitors to the Emperor.
When it comes to unlocking these new armor sets, it takes a total of 35 matches to unlock the highest level of armor for a single class. These matches are also class-specific, so unlocking all armor for all six classes will take some time. Armor sets are also only available for that specific class, so you should figure out which class you enjoy playing the most before committing to grinding out top-tier armor to show off to other players. Below, you can see that every armor set for all six classes comes in the default Space Marine blue.
