Welcome to this week’s roundup of The Beat comics crowdfunding! Join us as we explore Mars, a giant mecha battle full of twists and turns, a familiar fantasy story. Two more projects we love!
on Mars
Creator: Sylvan Lemberg (writer), Suspect (Illustrator)

The good stuff: Get On Mars digitally for $15, On Mars paperback for $25, and On Mars hardcover for $35.
In 2132, life on earth has reached the limit of sustainable development. Colonizing Mars has become our only option, and establishing such a major undertaking requires a lot of resources and manpower. The most cost-effective solution to meeting this requirement is voluntary labor by convicted felons – early access to humanity’s future home, but at the cost of the hard and dangerous work of building the damn thing.
Lemberg and Glenn are award-winning authors, and now they team up to tell a story of hope and violence on Mars. The best part is, colonizing Mars is only possible with a lot of manpower, so what’s the best way to do it? Drawing from a pool of convicted felons, it centers on a wrongfully convicted police officer who not only deals with corruption on Earth, but now also on Mars. The story looks fantastic, and we at The Beat can’t wait to see where it goes. Don’t miss it!
