Tales of Elleria, a web3 role-playing game built on the Arbitrum blockchain, has officially ended active development due to financial challenges.
While the development team will no longer be adding new features, the game’s servers will remain operational for a limited time.
As the game enters its final stages, players will be invited to participate in the final world boss event.
Final Milestone: PvP Features
The development team behind Tales of Elleria announced that they can no longer continue development of the game due to insufficient revenue.
Despite their efforts to maintain the project, they were unable to meet the financial requirements needed to further develop the game. Therefore, no new updates or expansions will be added.
The last major update, launched in September 2024, added player versus player (PvP) functionality. A more complex system was originally envisioned, but due to budget constraints, the PvP mode was simplified to an auto-battle mode, marking the completion of the game’s planned roadmap.
Parting Gift: Final World Boss Event
To end the game, Zorag will hold a final world boss event from September 5th to September 16th.
Players can compete by dealing damage to bosses, and the top 200 participants will share 50,000 $ARB tokens based on their performance. Rewards are distributed as follows:
- First place: 5% of the pool
- Second place: 4%
- Third place: 3%
- Fourth to tenth place: 2% each
- 11th to 25th: 1.5% each
- 26th to 50th: 1% each
- No. 51 to 100: 0.3% each
- No. 101 to No. 200: 0.1% each
Although development has been halted, the game’s servers will remain operational for approximately six months or until funding runs out.
Players can continue to access the game’s existing features, trade tokens, and participate in remaining content. Additionally, the game’s Discord server will remain open at a limited capacity to allow players to stay connected.
