Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Minecraft, and it looks pretty good as long as you ignore when actual humans show up.
Over a decade after it was first announced, and five years after it was originally supposed to be released, the first trailer for the Minecraft movie has been released, and for the most part it looks pretty good! While the realistically textured pigs, llamas, and piglins are a nightmare, they translate well to real-life style, so props to the CGI team. The biggest issue comes from all the real humans, they look clearly green screened, but not in a smooth, unobtrusive way, more like in Spy Kids, oh the budget here didn’t As much as you wish.

It won’t be released until April 4, 2025, so there’s always the possibility of making it look a little more natural, but for now I’d rather see realistic Minecraft pigs. The trailer’s description also offers more insight into the plot, explaining: “Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity not only helps you craft, but is crucial to one’s survival! Four misfits People-“Garbage Man” Garrett Garrison (played by Jason Momoa), Henry (played by Sebastian Eugene Henson), Natalie (played by Emma Miles) and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) – Suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a strange cubic wonderland where people flourish and find themselves grappling with ordinary problems.

“To return home, they must take control of the world (and protect it from evils like piglins and zombies) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected expert craftsman named Steve (Jack Black). .
Taking over the director’s chair is Jared Hess, perhaps best known for directing Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre, who also stars as Jack from Minecraft Steve Blake. The cast includes the beloved Jennifer Coolidge, Kate McKinnon and Jemaine Clement, although their roles are unclear.
